Shuffle rakeback calculator
Last updated
Shuffle gives back 5% of the house edge on every casino bet. Put in your wager and the game's edge to see what lands in your VIP panel, and what the session really costs once rakeback is counted.
Formula: $10,000 × 1% × 5% = $5.00. Expected loss is a long-run average, not what will happen in one session.
The formula
Rakeback on Shuffle is wager × house edge × 5%. Shuffle's own example: $1,000 wagered on a 2% edge game gives $1 of rakeback (1,000 × 0.02 × 0.05). It is paid win or lose, on all casino games, and it is not available on sports.
Because it is a share of the edge, rakeback is not a percentage of your wager in the usual sense. On a 1% game, 5% of the edge is 0.05% of what you wager: $10,000 of Dice returns $5. The same $10,000 on roulette returns $13.50, because the edge (and so your expected loss) is 2.7 times bigger.
Rakeback by game
| Game | House edge | Rakeback as % of wager |
|---|---|---|
| Dice, Mines, Crash, Limbo | 1% | 0.05% |
| Plinko | around 1% | about 0.05% |
| Blackjack (perfect play) | 0.52% | 0.026% |
| Slide, Coinflip, Chicken, Blitz, Stonks | 2% | 0.10% |
| Roulette (single zero) | 2.70% | 0.135% |
| Keno, Hilo, Wheel, Baccarat | not stated | unknown |
Edges come from the official game pages. Tower is not stated on its page; its multiplier chart points to 2%, but we have not confirmed it. Third-party slots have their own RTPs, shown in each game's info panel: a 96% RTP slot has a 4% edge, so 0.2% of wager comes back as rakeback.
Why higher rakeback is not better value
Higher edge games pay more rakeback in dollars, which tempts people to read it as a better deal. It is the opposite. Rakeback returns 5% of the edge whatever the game, so you always keep 95% of the expected loss. On $10,000 of Dice that is $95 of expected loss after rakeback; on a 4% slot it is $380. If you play for the VIP rewards, low edge games give you the same XP for far less cost.
Eligibility and claiming
- Starts at Bronze, which is 1,000 XP (see the VIP calculator).
- Claimed from the VIP page whenever you want; the balance accumulates until you do.
- Shuffle's VIP page also mentions instant, weekly and monthly rakeback for VIPs, without publishing separate rates.
FAQ
+What is Shuffle's rakeback rate?
Shuffle's help center says rakeback is 5% of the house edge, paid back as cash on casino games, whether you win or lose. In practice: wager × house edge × 5%.
+Do sports bets earn rakeback?
No. The help center says rakeback applies to casino games only, not sports bets.
+When can I claim rakeback?
Any time, from the VIP page. The accumulated amount stays there until you claim it. You need to be at least Bronze (1,000 XP).
+Does the rakeback percentage go up with my VIP level?
Shuffle quotes a flat 5% of the edge and publishes no per-tier rates. Higher levels get other rewards (reloads, bonuses, a VIP host), but no higher rakeback figure is published.
+Is rakeback the same as the daily bonus?
No. The daily bonus is a separate reward from Bronze, based on your last 24 hours of wager and also described as a percentage of the house edge. Shuffle does not publish that percentage.
